Church Groups Hope CRC has several groups and programs you could participate in or that would appreciate your help. The list is not complete yet, so please stay tuned as the list will be completed in the next couple of days. Coffee Break
Coffee Break is a Bible study group for women any age. Just drop by on Tuesday nights; we meet from 7.30 - 9.00 PM at the Hope Church coffee room. We start off with coffee and tea and talk about the past week. After that we sing---and we love that!! After that we have prayer time, followed by Bible study. You don't need Bible knowledge to join us; if you have a Bible great, if not we have one for you. Bible study sounds heavy/dull/boring but I promise you, it's not. Come and check us out, we love to have you or call me, Hannelies, at 935-2878.
Praise Team
The Preaise Team teaches new songs to the congregation and leads musical worship. The team meets every Wednesday at 8 pm to rehearse. They are not looking for new members but would be happy to offer advice if you would like to consider forming your own team. Also, if there are songs you would like the congregation to sing in worship, bring it to their attention. You can contact them by e-mailing praiseteam@hopecrc.net.
Teen Club
The teen club is for grade 9 and 10 students and meets at different times and at different places; sometimes in the Church, sometimes at a member's house or for example at the ski hill. Activities vary from Bible study to fun stuff like paint ball and from fund raising to watching a movie and eating pizza. If you would like to join, e-mail us at teenclub@hopecrc.net and we can tell you when and where our next meeting is. Or keep an eye on the bulletin and just drop by.
Young Adults
The young Adults is a group for everyone who finished highschool till age 30. The group meets on Sundays over supper or get together for sports like volleybal or baseball. The meetings are encouraging a safe and open atmosphere. E-mail Hans Oussoren for more information: youth@hopecrc.net
Bible Study Group
If you would like to get together with other adults to study the Bible and to get to know each other through BBQs and Potluck suppers, a Bible study group might be something for you. The group has as a goal to support each other and to explore different aspects of Christian life. Meetings are held every 2nd or 3rd Sunday evening from 8 - 9.30 PM. Just call Art and Cathy Blekkenhorst at 935-2835 to find out when the next meeting will be, come and join..
Ladies Time Out

Friendship Group
The goal of Friendship is to present the love of Jesus to the mentally challenged of all ages. The group meets every other Monday between 7.30 and 9 pm in the Fellowship room. Activities include singing, prayertime, Bible stories, crafts and bowling. If you would like to join, just call Irene Heerema (475-9785) or Cathy Blekkenhorst (935-2835) to find out which Monday they meet next.
