Pastor's corner

Welcome to the Hope Church website and the "Pastor's Corner."

If you asked me what the church is all about, I would say: Our mission is to introduce people to Jesus Christ (in our church family, the community where we live, and those we are directed to as we move throughout society and the world); and to disciple those who respond (nurturing them into a vibrant, fruitful relationship with our Savior and Lord).
If you asked me why I would want to do such a thing, I would say: Because I have received the love and grace of God myself, I am eager to share it with others.

Following are what I think should be the driving forces in any church:

1. Passionate devotion and service to Christ
2. Experiencing the love of Jesus so deeply that we can't help but want to introduce others to Him
3. Unconditional love and acceptance of all persons
4. Healthy relationships
5. Recognition, development, and the use of the gifts of the Spirit to each person
6. Every member finding their place in the organization and function of the church
7. The joy of serving
8. The adventure of faith
